Review of The Strange Case of Origami Yoda

By Tom Angleberger

"The Strange Case of Origami Yoda", is an interesting book written by Tom Angleberger and Jason Rosenstock as illustrator. As the book is written, it is in Tommy's point of view. Later on in the first chapter, Tommy talks about Dwight, who is a stange guy who carries Origami Yoda around wherever he goes. Tommy states, "The strangest thing about Origami Yoda is that he is so wise even though Dwight is a total loser." This points out that tom thinks that Origami Yoda should not be with Dwight because they have almost nothing in common. Besides from taking Origami Yoda everywhere, Dwight does other weird things such as wearing the same t-shirt for a long time. Apart from being weird, Dwight has one cool perk, making origami. One time, he decided to make an origami finger puppet that looks like Yoda. When things start getting mysterious, Yoda begins to predict the future, and can suggest the best way to end a difficult conflict. As Dwight goes around with his origami finger puppet, he finds himself blocked by a whole line of sixth graders, who have questions for him. Tommy has to figure out the mystery before he takes Origami Yoda's advice with Sara and Kellen, two girls who Tom likes.
