This book is about a cat named Sasha whose owner’s, wife, Jean, dies. Her owner, Ken is taken to a nursing home, but he can not take Sasha, so she runs away into the forest to live with a clan of cats among three other clans named Shadowclan.

      The leader of Shadowclan named Tigerstar is trying to take over all the clans in the forest. He confronts Sasha t try to get her to join Shadow clan permanently.

      I liked this book because it gives me a sense of compassion for Sasha, and the position she was in the whole book.
