Ellen and Ben Sanders live in a cottage by the lake. When they are out near a little pond they find a frog. They take it home because they realize that it was hurt so they took it home. They also find a little mushroom that they look up to see what kind it is. They figure out that it is an earthstar.

         The earth star turns the fog into an old woman that they go on many adventures with. The woman that they call Trudy tells them that she is a witch. They visit the witch coven that she was banned from. Trudy turns the head witch into a mouse. She tells Trudy that if she turns her back into a witch that she will allow her in the coven again, but Trudy doesn’t want to come back because she knows that she has more important things to do than spend her time there.
